What is PMT Score?
PMT stands for Proxy Means Test. It is a point-based system used by the government to check how poor or deserving your family is.
- If your PMT score is low, it means you are more poor.
- If your PMT score is high, it means you are not eligible for BISP or Ehsaas.
PMT Score and BISP – What’s the Link?
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) uses your PMT Score to decide:
- ✅ Are you poor enough to get money?
- ✅ Are you eligible for Taleemi Wazifa (children scholarship)?
- ✅ Can you get Kafalat payment or not?
So, checking your PMT Score is the first step before applying to BISP.

✅ Note: In 2025, BISP eligibility limit is usually PMT score below 32.
